I just finished the BEST BOOK I have ever read!

I have just finished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (yes this is the first time I have read the book and yes I know I am a little late reading them) and I thought it was amazing. One of the reviews on the back cover says that there isn't a dull page and they weren't wrong. I have to say, a couple of the things that the film changed work a little better but some of the things that are in the book but not in the film would have worked better. The book is perfectly laid out, the characters develop really well, and this book is almost like the pivotal moment of the whole series, Voldemort's return. And personally, I enjoyed every moment of the book which doesn't often happen with me when I read books. I am now going to start book 5, the Order of the Phoenix, I was going to have a little break for a few days but I picked it up off the shelf and I couldn't resist. I have already read the first chapter. Roll on the 15th July for the last ever film. Oh and thank you very much J.K. Rowling.

HOT IN CLEVELAND IS BACK!

Oh I have missed this show. The comedy is so well timed and acted brilliantly, this show is irresistible. My EPISODE MOMENT is when a drunken Victoria stumbled out of a bar and thought and up-turned mop was actually Joy. Hilarious. The classic comedy is not one to be missed peeps.

ALBUM REVIEW: Born This Way - Lady GaGa

LADY GAGA - BORN THIS WAY: *****
* OVERVIEW: The newly crowned Queen of Pop has finally proven she has what it takes to hold her position at the top. This merge of dance pop, operatic vocals, heavy metal beats and hard bass lines, this second album has moved away from the smooth unusual pop label Lady GaGa's previous albums have given her. Not only does this album prove she is inventive and knows what the little monsters want, but she continues to make this album personal to herself and the fans.
* BEST TRACK: For me it has got to be Marry the Night. A personal track that cuts right into the wounds of personal experiences and proves GaGa can do something I thought was very hard to do, a fast pop track that remains emotional and entertaining.
* WORST TRACK: I would love to say there isn't any, but there is something I could put down. Yoü and I is an 80s style rock and roll hit and doesn't fit well with the rest of the album and it's themes, but it is still one of my favourite tracks of the whole album.
* CONCLUSION: Possibly the best album of the year.

So I thought I would post something about the things that I might blog about. As you can tell from my background, I am a huge fan of Lady GaGa and she will definitely be the subject of some of my blog posts. In fact I am such a huge fan that say if she were to release a song tomorrow, I would try to blog a link so you can hear the song as fast as I possibly can.


Some of the other things that I might blog about:


* Television is my passion and I watch lots of it. Too much in fact. To give an example, Hot in Cleveland comes back to continue with it's second season after a short hiatus and True Blood: season four starts very soon so I will blog about those, but careful, they might contain SPOILERS! Plus I love to review it so I will try to review it either episode by episode or season by season.


* I read a lot so every time I finish a book, I will review it and you can then read the review and see whether it is something you would like to read. Also, if there is a book announcement or release, I will blog about that too.


* I also enjoy other music, so when I discover a song that I really love, I will blog a link so you can listen to it also.
